Biography
Ever since I was a little boy, photography has fascinated me. In 1986 when I was in grade 3, my dad bought me an old Kodak Instamatic at a garage sale. Since then, a camera has been a constant companion. I’ve always loved how I can express my feelings through the lens of a camera. Composing images, capturing fleeting moments, recording personal history and examining the natural world and our place in it has become a passion.

I graduated from the Western Academy of Photography (Victoria, British Columbia) in 2001. My love for photography has only deepened as I have travelled extensively and photographed weddings as well as scenery across Canada. The technical expertise I’ve gained over the years, along with my enthusiasm and unique vision have opened up many doors and allowed me to do what I love for a living.

I am happy to call Halifax, Nova Scotia my home, where I live with my amazing fiancée Amy (wedding date October 11, 2010) and our two kooky cats.
