| Ever since I was a little boy, photography has fascinated me. In 1986 when I was in grade 3, my dad bought me an old Kodak Instamatic at a garage sale. Since then, a camera has been a constant companion. I graduated from the Western Academy of Photography (Victoria, B.C) in 2001. Getting a solid education at a great photography school allowed me to thoroughly learn and practice the technical and creative aspects of photography, while understanding there would always be something new to learn, every day. The key to success I was told is blending knowledge and skill, hard work, experience and passion. In the 10+ years since, I haven't stopped working hard, learning and becoming more and more enriched by this passion of mine. Being a wedding photographer is something I truly love. Having confidence in what I do and being personable and easy-going allows me to blend in like a good friend at a wedding, capturing those once in a lifetime moments. I am happy and proud to call Halifax, Nova Scotia my home, where I live with my amazing wife Amy, our two kooky cats and adorable puppy.
